The goal
A U.S. store selling hydraulic tools for tractors was already tracking Reddit with the browser pixel. It wanted Reddit to receive purchases even when the pixel was blocked, as part of one server-side setup feeding all its ad platforms.
What I did
- Kept the Reddit Pixel tags for page visit, add to cart and purchase in the web container.
- Built Reddit Conversions API tags for the same three events in the server-side container.
- Matched conversion IDs between pixel and CAPI for deduplication.
- Checked every event in Reddit's Events Manager until all showed Healthy.
Result
All three core events, page visit, add to cart and purchase, are Healthy and arrive from both the Reddit Pixel and the Conversions API, with IP and user agent sent on 100% of server events.
Next step I recommended
Raise conversion ID coverage above today's 64% and add hashed email: that lifts Reddit's match quality rating from “Okay” and gives Reddit more sales to learn from.
Scope of work

- Reddit Conversions API (server-side)
- Server-side GTM on Stape
- Page visit, add to cart and purchase
- IP, user agent and conversion ID for matching
- Conversion ID deduplication
- Verification in Reddit Events Manager
