The challenge

A specialist U.S. store selling hydraulic tools for tractors needed Google Ads sales that clearly paid for themselves. With a narrow, niche audience, automated campaigns can easily spend on the wrong people unless they have strong signals to learn from.

What I did

  • Set up purchase tracking with Enhanced Conversions, so every sale reaches Google Ads with its value.
  • Built a Performance Max sales campaign on the product feed, with audience signals and search themes around hydraulic parts and couplers.
  • Bid on value with a 611% target ROAS, so the campaign chases revenue rather than order count.
  • Manage it monthly: search terms, assets, budget pacing and reporting.

Result

$67.1K in conversion value from $10.1K of ad spend: a 6.6x return, ahead of the campaign's own 611% target, from 196 conversions at about $51.50 each, with a 1.77% conversion rate, 1.87% CTR and $1.14 average CPC.

Next step I recommended

Lift ad strength to “Excellent” with more image and video assets, and split asset groups by product line, so spend can scale while ROAS holds.

Scope of work

  • Merchant Center feed
  • Performance Max setup
  • Audience signals
  • Target ROAS bidding
  • Enhanced Conversions
  • Asset optimization
  • Monthly management & reporting

The goal

A store selling low-ticket digital toolkits needed sales at a cost per conversion low enough to stay profitable on a $25 daily budget. At that price point, every wasted dollar shows up straight away in the margin.

What I did

  • Set up a Demand Gen campaign reaching buyers across YouTube, Discover and Gmail with visual ads.
  • Built audiences and creative around the products' core use cases.
  • Tracked every purchase with its value, so the campaign optimizes on real revenue.
  • Monitored performance and budget pacing to keep cost per conversion low.

Result

126 conversions in 21 days on $349 of spend: $2.77 per conversion and $1.37K in conversion value, a 392% return, with an 85.2% optimization score.

Next step I recommended

The campaign is “Limited by budget” at $25/day, and Google estimates +9.6% more conversions from fixing it. With returns near 4x, raising the budget is the clear next move.

Scope of work

  • Demand Gen setup
  • Audience building
  • Creative & asset setup
  • Purchase tracking
  • Budget management
  • Ongoing optimization
  • Monthly reporting
